I have written this policy to inform you about the use of cookies we (that is me and the third parties acting on my behalf) place when you visit my website.
Why do we ask for Consent and why do we have a Cookie Policy?
The provision of information about our use of cookies is required and set out in Italy`s Legislative Decree No. 207 of 8 November 2021 which implements the Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive (“PECD”).

As the name suggests those are essential or necessary to ensure that a website works properly and is secure and without them certain features of a website would simply not function. There are also Functional cookies, which allow a website to remember the options and personalization settings a user has made when visiting a website. Of course, there are also Analysis and performance cookies, which are used to monitor and improve the function and service of a website, track down problems, record visitor numbers, and provide analytics metrics. Lastly, there are also advertising cookies or targeting cookies, which are used to deliver customized advertising to the user.
The Cookies used on my website
The PECR, requires asking for consent when any cookie that is not strictly necessary for the operation of the website (Functional cookies, Analysis and performance cookies and Advertising cookies or targeting cookies). Further, the GDPR also requires a legal basis for the use of personal data were cookies are used to process personal data, which would then be your consent (Art. 6 (1) a) GDPR as well as our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR).
We are using ConvertKit which places the following cookie:
- __cf_bm.
- convertkit.com
- This cookie, set by Cloudflare, is used to support Cloudflare Bot Management.
- This cookie has a lifespan of 30 minutes and is classed as a Functional cookie.
How can I delete cookies?
How and whether you want to use cookies is up to you. Regardless of which service or website the cookies come from, you always have the option to delete, only partially allow or disable cookies.
